What I'm up to lately.

• Working hard on my project... doing lots of cloning, bioinformatics, functional experiments. The goal is to get a first-author preprint out with my name on it so that PhD programs can see what I've been working on.
• Gearing up for PhD apps. Narrowing down my list of schools, writing my essays, applying to fellowships. Nervous about it all.
• Reading a book in French! « Arrête avec tes mensonges » by Philippe Besson
